Our Battle of Bosworth 2010 Shiraz got a great review from James Suckling on his website, www.jamessuckling.com :

‘A wine with meat, spice and dark fruits on the nose, follow through to a full bodied palate, and soft silky tannins with a long finish. Polished and fascinating. Better in 2013. 93 points 

McLaren Vale hosted James Suckling (www.jamessuckling.com) for a tasting and dinner last month. Suckling was wine editor at large for Wine Spectator Magazine for a long time, based in Italy. He now focuses on his website. His pit-stop tour of Australia saw him and off-sider Ned Goodwin MW (@rednedwine) on the look-out for the Holy Grail of what they called #realaussiewine. It seems they found a lot of these wines in McLaren Vale.
