October was a month to remember for the Battle of Bosworth Wines team. We’re thrilled to announce that our wines have been recognized with prestigious awards at both the McLaren Vale Wine Show and the Melbourne Royal Wine Awards.
McLaren Vale Wine Show Triumph
We were ecstatic to bring home three fantastic awards from the McLaren Vale Wine Show:
- Chairperson’s Trophy: 2024 Puritan Preservative Free Shiraz “Awarded to the wine that best represents the past, present, and future of McLaren Vale”.
- Best One Year Old or Younger Shiraz: 2023 Wild Boar Shiraz
- Best Two Year or Younger Cabernet: 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon
These awards are a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team, as well as the exceptional quality of our grapes and winemaking techniques.
A Royal Recognition
The accolades didn’t stop there. We were honored to receive the Best Organic or Biodynamic Wine trophy at the Melbourne Royal Wine Awards.
These awards have an extra special significance to us as we approach our 30th year of organic viticulture in McLaren Vale. We are proud to have been region’s first organic wine brand and these awards give us confidence that we are still helping to lead the way in organic and sustainable wine.
