We have a few events coming up in the next few weeks which you may want to ponder on and commit to the Filofax. Battle of Bosworth and Spring Seed Wines will be heading to Light Square on Friday the 4th April for a food truck bonanza – ‘Fork in the Road’ from 4-10pm (free entry). The following night is the Market Feast at Adelaide Central Markets from 6.30pm to midnight! Louise will be down there selling a wine – yet to be chosen – on the night. This was one of the highlights of last year’s Festival. 

The Louise (and kids; Joch will still be busy with vintage) will be saddling up and cantering off to the country on Sunday 13th April for ‘Sips in the Stick’s at Sue Bell’s Glenroy Shearing Shed winery in Coonawarra. This was an awesome event last year. I am aiming to win the dessert prize this year, so look out Corrina Wright from Oliver’s Taranga!

May is ‘Aussie Wine Month’ here in Australia and we are organising a nice long lunch with our friends Sharon (above), David and team at Fino in Willunga. I will let you know more details as they come in. Currently we are batting for Saturday the 17th May, so tentatively mark that one in until advised otherwise….The theme will be old and new – not that original but Joch will be pulling out some older vintage wines from the cellar and we will be celebrating nearly 20 years of organic grape growing, 8 years of having our wines in Fino and life in general. It should be a great lunch. We hope to see some of you there.
